Cache is a zine that focuses on preserving the unique visual elements of often overlooked locations in Singapore, with the debut edition centering on the vicinity of Woodlands and specifically Fushan Garden. The concept behind the first edition is inspired by the ever-changing physical appearance of the garden. The abstract illustrations in the publication serve as permanent representations, despite any future changes to the garden. Each abstract shape represents unique characteristics of the dinosaurs found there, some with exaggerated features and others with elongated shapes. These abstract symbols are intentionally ambiguous, inviting readers to see familiar shapes from the past or discover new silhouettes in the present.
