PROJECT DETAILS

Emerging from within, a fictional zoo exhibition, crafted for a school project with intention to educate and enlighten young adults and families on the molting journey of Ocypodidae crabs. The poster concept, inspired by the title, suggests new armor emerging out of the old. The main illustration of simple shape, following the silhouette of the crab's back, the location where they start molting. The invitation card, with its sleeve, embodies the old shell, and as the user extracts the invitation card, it emerges as a new shell, taking the shape of a crab. The main message of the prints, is the molting process of the crabs, depicted by the main action of emerging and growing with a new shell out of the old.
